What You'll Do

We are currently seeking an SAP Materials Management, Planning and Purchasing Analyst who, as part of our SAP applications team, will focus on our core product master, materials planning requirements and purchasing functionality. The Analyst will coordinate and develop requirements between all global business operations for Amer Sports while working closely with Wilson business units locally.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Work with business to determine functional requirements for the system within SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) and MM processes
  • Configure SAP IBP screens to meet the business requirements
  • Manage other product related projects, people, time, budgets when requested
  • Work with our technical resources to develop reports, functions and enhancements
  • Provide daily support and training requirements to the business
  • Collaborate with other SCM groups to determine best in class approach for our MRP and independent requirements at our factory locations
  • Understand MRP and IBP and other technical planning/purchasing systems and how they interact with SAP S/4 and ECC systems to control end-to-end processes and proactively identify/resolve issues
  • Coordinate changes with Central team on cross-brand and international topics


What We're Looking For

This role requires a bachelor's degree in business, computer science, math, MIS, or equivalent plus at least 3-5 years of SAP SCM configuration / support - preferably in the consumer products and retail/fashion industry.

Other qualifications include:

  • Minimum three full life cycle implementations as an SAP MM / Planning functional analyst or lead in SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4 Hana (in recent releases 2020 or above)
  • Expert level configuration and design skills in SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4 Hana (in recent releases 2020 or above)
  • ECC 6.0: MM skills: Material master, vendor partners, product costing, planning strategies, VC - Variant configuration, manufacturing processes, labeling, planning controls.
  • S/4 Hana: IBP skills: Demand and Supply planning, MRP, advanced reporting, serial number processing, S/4 business partner logic, AVC - Advanced Variant configuration, material segmentation
  • Deep experience with other SAP modules (WM, PP, FI, SD, LE, etc.) is a plus
  • Knowledge and experience to handle day to day support with SAP S/4 Hana is required
  • Firm understanding of systems development lifecycle and system implementation methodologies


What We'll Provide

A reasonable estimate of the pay range is $100,000-$130,000 per year at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and/or training. Please note that the range details reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program.
