HOW WILL YOU MAKE CHANGE HAPPEN
As a Program Manager for the Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) Portfolio, you'll work closely with the Director to manage operational components of strategic planning, governance, and execution of IT applications within the SAP S/4HANA ecosystem. A significant focus will be leading the Fusion 2.0 project, which involves migrating the legacy Newcrest SAP S/4HANA system into the Newmont environment. Your proven expertise in SAP program management and stakeholder collaboration will be essential to drive this complex, high-visibility initiative to successful completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering meaningful outcomes.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE CHANGE HAPPEN
As a Program Manager for the Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) Portfolio, you'll work closely with the Director to manage operational components of strategic planning, governance, and execution of IT applications within the SAP S/4HANA ecosystem. Your proven expertise in SAP program management and stakeholder collaboration will be essential to drive this complex, high-visibility initiative to successful completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering meaningful outcomes.
YOU WILL:
- Develop and execute IT portfolio management strategies, ensuring effective governance, prioritization, and resource allocation
- Lead SAP S/4HANA projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
- Drive continuous improvements in portfolio management processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT initiatives with business objectives
- Manage risks, compliance, and regulatory requirements related to IT projects
- Coordinate and facilitate technical discussions to ensure well-planned and executed project work
- Organize and oversee project cutover plans to minimize disruptions during go-live
- Facilitate project planning sessions with key stakeholders to draft plans and schedules
- Monitor project progress, escalating issues as necessary to keep initiatives on track
- Track milestones and provide regular stakeholder updates through monthly reporting
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and administer project SharePoint sites
- Support organizational change management efforts tied to IT portfolio projects
IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:
- 15+ years of SAP experience with a proven track record in program management across multiple domains (HR, Payroll, Finance, Supply Chain, EAM)
- End-to-end program leadership experience in global SAP implementations
- In-depth understanding of SAP technologies and technical components (ABAP, integration patterns, transport management)
- Experience with cloud services and infrastructure (AWS/Azure) integration with SAP environments
- Strong technical expertise in SAP components, including ABAP programs, integration patterns, transports, and Basis administration
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple third-party vendors, including managing offshore outsourcing
- Proficiency in Agile principles, particularly within the SAP Activate framework
- Experience effectively managing virtual project teams in remote work environments
- Exceptional documentation skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Outstanding executive communication skills for clear presentation of complex technical issues
- PMI-PMP certification preferred but not required
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
