SAP Techno-Functional Project Manager (Finance & Treasury)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Techno-Functional Project Manager with deep expertise in SAP Finance (FI), Treasury, SD, MM, and HR modules. This role requires a strong blend of project management skills and SAP technical-functional expertise to lead onshore and offshore teams, drive SAP S/4HANA upgrade initiatives, and ensure seamless integration and functionality across multiple business areas.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP Treasury, hands-on experience in configuration, design, and testing, and the ability to collaborate with business users and technical teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions. Strong problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and leadership are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management & Leadership:

• Manage and coordinate SAP projects, ensuring successful execution across onshore and offshore teams.
• Lead and support SAP S/4HANA upgrade activities, ensuring smooth transition and minimal disruptions.
• Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to drive project success.

SAP Techno-Functional Expertise:

• Design, configure, and test core FI/CO, Treasury, Cost Centers, and Purchasing modules.
• Provide expertise in Bank Communication Management & Payments Processing within SAP.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP issues related to environments, applications, and integration points.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.

Business & Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work closely with business users to gather and document requirements.
• Ensure that all development activities meet customer specifications and deadlines.
• Prepare quality test scripts and oversee end-to-end QA testing of all SAP objects before deployment.
• Conduct QA reviews for all development and configuration activities in Finance, Treasury, MM, HR, and SD.
• Provide support for internal and external audits (ICE and PwC).

Continuous Improvement & Agile Methodology:

• Lead SAP process optimizations and enhancements in alignment with best practices.
• Utilize Agile project management tools (Confluence & Jira) for efficient tracking and delivery.
• Ensure production support and ongoing system stability across all SAP applications.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Project Management Expertise - Ability to manage SAP projects across onshore and offshore teams.
• Deep SAP Treasury Knowledge - Strong experience in SAP FI/CO, Treasury, SD, MM, and HR modules.
• SAP S/4HANA Experience - Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA upgrades and implementations.
• Technical & Functional Skills - Ability to design, configure, test, and support SAP applications.
• Strong Communication & Collaboration - Excellent verbal and written communication across business areas, technical teams, and leadership.
• Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting - Ability to resolve complex issues across SAP environments and integration points.
• Agile & QA Expertise - Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and QA best practices for SAP testing.
• Audit & Compliance - Experience supporting ICE and PwC audits.
• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card Required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP certifications in Finance, Treasury, or S/4HANA.
• Experience in large-scale SAP transformations or global implementations.
• Background in finance, treasury, or supply chain management.
