Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Product Owner

As a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Product Owner, you will be instrumental in the successful delivery of our products and services, adhering to SAFe values, principles, and success patterns. Collaborating within a cross-functional team, you will work closely with Product Management, Architecture, and other stakeholders to define, prioritize, and validate the evolving solution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Product Ownership:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the product, responsible for defining, prioritizing, and managing the product backlog. Vision and Strategy:
• Develop and communicate a coherent product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. Prioritization:
• Assess and prioritize features and user stories based on business value, customer feedback, and technical feasibility, ensuring the team focuses on high-impact tasks. Requirements Gathering:
• Facilitate the gathering and documentation of product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to provide clear direction for development teams. Stakeholder Engagement:
• Collaborate with various stakeholders, including business leaders, customers, and development teams, to ensure alignment with the product vision. Agile Framework Implementation:
• Advocate for and uphold the principles of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), ensuring adherence to agile methodologies. Roadmap Development:
• Contribute to the development of a comprehensive product roadmap, outlining delivery schedules and milestones. Release Planning:
• Participate in release planning activities, including feature prioritization, sprint planning, and coordination of cross-team dependencies. Metrics and Analysis:
• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge product success and identify areas for enhancement.
  Product Delivery:
• Work closely with development teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 8+ years' experience as an agile product owner, coupled with a bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education); an advanced degree with 5+ years of related experience is also acceptable.
• Proven track record as a Product Owner or similar role within an agile environment.
• Proficiency in agile methodologies and a deep understanding of the SAFe framework.
• Strong prioritization skills, with a penchant for making data-driven decisions.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira Software, Confluence, LucidCharts, Jira Align, and AgilityHealth.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• SAFe 6.0 Product Owner/Product Manager Certification.

COMMUNICATIONS AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, coupled with strong presentation abilities.
