Technical: Means/Methods:
- Supports estimating and procurement teams by preparing bid schedules to be used in procurement and proposal efforts. This includes:
- Evaluating contract requirements and represent deliverables in a schedule,
- Reviewing plans to accurately model required scope in a schedule, and
- Understanding construction means and methods to accurately model appropriate activity sequencing in a schedule.
- Supports operations management teams in the development of baseline schedules, which may include converting a bid schedule to accurately model the operations management team's plan to execute the contract scope and to ensure the schedule meets contract requirements for a baseline submission.
- Prepares monthly updates to CPM schedule and prepares associated schedule narrative for submission to the project Client in accordance with contract documents.
- Gathers as-built schedule data from project team on a weekly basis and provides updated look ahead schedules to project team.
- Prepares schedule impact analyses to support change orders or other requests for contract time extensions
- Analyzes project problems and recommends corrective action that has the least impact to cost and schedule.
- Utilizes project management systems to track adherence to contract requirements, including but not limited to submittal tracking, communication documentation, requests for information, plan revisions, and notice requirements.
Safety:
- Supports and enforces the Allan Myers Safety Program including the coordination of project activities to ensure compliance with all government regulatory guidelines and agencies.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High Level understanding of and proficiency in use of Primavera P6 scheduling software
- Ability to develop critical path method schedules for Heavy Civil, Highway Infrastructure, and Site Development Projects
- Must be able to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, and coordinate with a variety of stakeholders
- B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, related major, or equivalent is desirable
- Minimum of 3 years of construction management experience in estimating, operations and/or engineering required; 5 years or more preferred
- AACE International Planning & Scheduling Professional certification desirable
- Valid driver's license required
