    Job Summary and Qualifications

    This position supports the mission of Presbyterian/St Luke's of optimizing quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person. Under the direction of the Clinic Director, the Scheduling Manager is responsible for:
    Assists organization and facilitates patient care in her/his department that is consistent with unit/department and hospital standards and goals.
    Oversight of Scheduling and New Patient Team at Colorado Blood Cancer Insititute to ensure successful clinic flow.
    Responsible for the selection, training, scheduling and supervision of scheduling personnel.
    Responsible for ensuring adherence to key metrics and KPI for all scheduling activities.
    Ensure quality and integrity of clinical data.
    Utilizes tools including but not limited to: OncoEMR and general clinical IT applications (OncoEMR, Stafa CT clinical modules and Unlimited G4 at CBCI in coordination with CBCI leadership to drive scheduling efficiencies.
    Meets regularly with the Director of Clinic Operations regarding any data and/or clinical IT concerns or operational process improvements within the scheduling arena.
    Identifies areas where advanced scheduling applications can extend the capabilities of scheduling team functionality.
    Establish best practices and guiding principles for scheduling processes.
    Establish and maintain effective relationships with providers, clinic leaders, clinical and non-clinical professionals and other stakeholders at the P/SL and CBCI.

    What qualifications you will need:
    • Bachelor's degree in a clinical or relevant business-related field required
    • BLS - Healthcare provider
    • At least three years experience in oncology or large outpatient clinical practice setting preferred. At least one-year previous experience in charge/supervisory or management position preferred.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other health care team members.
    • Ability to manage a team and work with others within a team to ensure quality patient care.
    • Strong critical thinking skills.
    • Desire to provide compassionate, holistic care.
