POSITION: Science & Technology Engineer
LOCATION: Stafford, VA
STATUS: Full time - Contingent Hire
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering field
- Experience: 5 plus years of related experience
- Citizenship and Clearance: U.S. Citizen with Active Secret Clearance, or ability to obtain one
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% to support client meetings and requirements
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Strong problem-solving skills; Ability to work independently or with a team
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Significant Experience: Business Analysis, Technical Process and Review Management Analysis,
and Strategic Support for DoD
- Educational Training: Knowledge of DoD 5000.2 manual and Defense
Acquisition Guidebook (DAG)
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Use appropriate techniques, processes, procedures, and management tools to design and develop policies, processes, strategic and Science and Technology (S&T) Roadmaps and operations.
- Create Business Processes and Workflows, Business Cases Knowledge Management processes and tools, and Capabilities Based Portfolio Analysis.
- Update functions, and analysis as necessary and as requested by the government client in support of objective team execution and program review preparation and execution.
- Provide support to the government client's efforts through analysis and evaluation of current capabilities, operational readiness, and operational needs.
- Deliver a high- level summary of capabilities and identify the risks and shortfalls associated with the strategic and technology insertions into existing Programs.
- Assist with development and updates to strategic documents.
- Provide integration, interoperability and S&T recommendations to address requirements and gaps in capabilities.
