Cimarron is seeking a Scrum Master to facilitate an Agile development environment for the StarLab flight software program in Houston, TX. The StarLab will be a low Earth orbit (LEO) space station that will serve as a business park for commercial space and space tourism activities!

Position Introduction/Key Duties
Cimarron is seeking a Scrum Master to facilitate an Agile development environment for the StarLab flight software program in Houston, TX. The StarLab will be a low Earth orbit (LEO) space station that will serve as a business park for commercial space and space tourism activities!
Key Duties:
- Oversee the Agile development process for multiple concurrent software development teams.
- Coach Agile teams, provide process instruction, and report metrics to StarLab space station leadership.
- Support flight software certification activities.
- Ensure compliance with the StarLab software development process.
- Propose and implement Agile process improvements with the flight software team.
- Apply relevant standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
- Develop scripts and software to enhance Agile processes, reporting, and metrics.
- Integrate, verify, and validate flight software within the system integration lab (SIL).
- Contribute to resource planning, schedule development, and tracking of software schedule metrics.
- Identify risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and assess impacts on schedules and budgets.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Passion for optimizing the Agile development process to simultaneously improve efficiency and quality.
- 5 or more years of experience employing Agile software development in a human-rated, regulated domain.
- Ability to integrate across a wide range of technical disciplines.
- Ability to coordinate with distributed teams.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Experience with manned-space system software and certification or analogous experience in other domains.
- Experience with JIRA or similar software development tracking tools.
- Agile certifications, including ScrumMaster certification.
