Job Description
Work Schedule:
  • Initial Period (3-4 weeks): 100% Onsite
  • Following Period: 1-2 days onsite per week

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced SDA Analyst for our open role in Alexandria, VA. This role is critical for ensuring the security and integrity of our network architecture and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will bring a robust understanding of network architecture, system design, and security protocols to facilitate comprehensive assessments and recommendations.

Roles:
  • Support the Security Design Architecture Team in ensuring compliance with security requirements at various levels.
  • Conduct design reviews by government directives, frameworks, and standards.
  • Participate in Design Reviews, Go-Live, and Transition Reviews for all projects.
  • Offer technical expertise, diagram reviews, and recommendations for all information systems.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of a Security Design Assessment Portfolio.
  • Provide a formal Risk Assessment Report (RAR) and Acceptance of Risk (AOR) memorandum when required.
  • Offer operational risk management support for managed systems.
  • Support the integration of Cyber products with new hardware and software.
  • Manage and provide technical support services focused on the implementation and execution of security policies and procedures.


Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance or higher.
  • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field with 3-7 years of relevant experience.
  • DoD 8570 IAM/IAT Level II certification required before start.
  • Extensive experience in Information Assurance technology or related fields.
  • Proficiency with the Risk Management Framework and knowledge of NIST SP 800-37, CNSSI 1253, FIPS 199, and NIST SP 800-53.
  • Familiarity with CIRT processes, data spill cleanup, Data-Write, and Cross Domain Data Transfer processes.
  • Expertise in auditing security controls and continuous monitoring.
  • Understanding of STIGs, SRGs, and Common Control Processes.
  • Effective project management and technical writing skills.
  • Excellent customer service, verbal, and written communication skills.
