Position Overview

Requirements:

• We are looking for a highly motivated software engineer in test who can support our digital applications in multiple ways such as testing strategy, test execution, automation testing, CI / CD build out, analysis, and application development.
• The team focus will be on new web application and service layer buildout.
• The outcome of this role will elevate the efficiency and speed at which client not only delivers stable products but delivers quality to our customers.

The Expertise You Have:

• Lead and influence a team of Software Engineers around testing best practices operating in an agile methodology.
• 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or 3+ years with a Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with architecting automation test platforms.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with architecting and implementing development pipelines (CI / CD).
• Hands-on experience with creating and using Virtual / Mock assets.
• Proven highly proficient development skillset within the following: Angular, Java, JavaScript, Jenkins, uDeploy, React.
• Experience with web based and API based automation tool sets such as: Protractor, Selenium, REST Assured.
• Strong demonstrated experience in delivering software solutions in an Agile environment.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience preferred.
• Express.js, Flask or similar a PLUS.
• Python is nice-to-have.
• Passionate about crafting the best end-to-end customer experience.
• You are a multi-stack engineer with knowledge in a breadth of technologies and test automation frameworks and solutions.
• Energetically pursue new technologies and their adoption.
• Leading the outcome by taking personal accountability for delivering strong results.
• Thrive in a fast paced, high demand environment.
• Enjoy experimental development solutions.

Required Skills:

6+ years of experience Backend API Testing- RestAssured Java Javascript strong coding skills.

Basic Qualifications:

• Framework is already built, but they will contribute with new framework additions as well Looking for STRONG coding background (wants people who came from a SE background and moved into a QE role) Primarily backend API testing.

Languages: Java / JavaScript (needs to be able to code in both ideally).

Tools: RestAssured Could look for Postman, but RestAssured will get the win other tools are Selenium / Protractor / Cypress Stay away from Vendor Purchased products - Wants to stay open-source TDD is highly preferred CI/CD - Udeploy & Jenkins.

Nice to have: AWS / Python.
