Summary:
Seeking a Chief for the Department of Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
Highlights:
The Department of Emergency Medicine is a 34-bed unit with approximately 50,000 visits annually.
The position of Chief will manage a high functioning team that accounts for over 70% of admissions and is the lifeblood of the hospital.
There is a well-established PEM fellowship with 3 fellows per year (the fellowship had a 100% fill rate again this year) with an outstanding Program Director and many engaged core faculty.
An ideal candidates will have an interest and passion for serving our high-needs community and a willingness to partner with us as we eliminate healthcare bias and inequalities.
Candidates will bring at least 5 years of leadership experience.
Qualifications:
Doctorate in Medicine (M.D. or D.O.) and PA license or ability to obtain.
Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience with demonstrated leadership accomplishments
An interpersonal skillset that focuses on team-building.
