Title: Security Architect

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Duration: 6 Months

The Scope Of This Role Include

• Determines security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements; researching information security standards; conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments; studying architecture/platform; identifying integration issues; preparing cost estimates.
• Designs and develops security architectures for cloud and cloud/hybrid-based systems across all types including Infrastructure, Platform and Software as a Service (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS).
• Design and implementation experience in Kubernetes and Docker
• Maintain relevant professional certification such as CISSP, CRISC, CCSK, CCSP, CISM or AWS Security Specialty
• Advanced experience in Infrastructure as a Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) orchestration container deployments
• Responsible for the end to end architecture for cloud security solutions involving multiple public cloud stacks (e.g. AWS, Azure,...) and large internal cloud platforms.
• Represents the security platform in development and implementation of the overall global enterprise cloud architecture while acting as the ambassador and senior technical representative for Enterprise Security, engaging with other senior technical leaders throughout the organization.
• Partner with Business representatives, Application Development, Engineering, Operations and Support, Security, Compliance, Corporate Strategy and other digital partners. Provide guidance and direction to the overall technical strategy and roadmap by aligning cost-effective and reusable solutions while advancing the usage of new emerging trends and technical capabilities.
• Provides architecture and roadmaps for incorporating infrastructure security devices, including IPS, SIEM, malware proxies, network and systems access controls, firewalls, authentication devices, enterprise monitoring systems, etc.
• Recommends/develops security systems implement security automation verification test automation scripts.
• Upgrades security systems by monitoring security environment; identifying security gaps; evaluating and implementing enhancements.
• Recommends and participates in 'Proof of Concept' meetings required to investigate technical possibilities to meet business needs.
• Evaluates developing requirements or areas such as Local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), Cloud Architectures, virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices for Architecture integration.
• Develops security policies, procedures and technical security standards while working in partnership with Engineering, Infrastructure Services and Application Development organizations to choose appropriate technology solutions, and facilitates complete integration into the company environments.
• Identifies key performance indicators (KPIs), develops improvement objectives and monitors progress toward improvement of the Information Security Program objectives.
• Demonstrates ability to maintain currency on industry trends in cyber risk with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO27001/2, NIST cyber security framework, security best practices}. Teamwork, Planning, Roadmaps and Strategy
• Keeps abreast of current security issues, threats, vulnerabilities, legal/regulatory changes and protection strategies.
• In-depth understanding of the NIST CyberSecurity Framework, NIST 800-171/172, Zero Trust (NIST 800-207) Architecture and various global privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR, NIST, Chinese Cybersecurity Law)

• Demonstrate proven experience in risk management, IT / Information Security policies, standards, and controls, regulatory and audit compliance, and information security awareness
• Translate complex concepts across multiple layers of resources into understandable and actionable terms
• Escalate issues early and manage customer expectations effectively
• Build relationships effectively and collaborate easily with others to drive results and solve problems
• Travel domestically and internationally approximately 15%
• Maintain a high level of personal accountability
• Maintain relevant professional certification such as CISSP, CRISC, CCSK, CCSP, CISM or AWS Security Specialty
• Possess eight years of results-oriented IT or Information Security leadership experience
• Able to obtain/maintain a US Government Secret Security Clearance
• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in related field or significant related experience
