Join our team leading the transformation of the AFRL Digitial Capabilities Execution Directorate. We are looking for an HPCMP Security Control Assessor - Representative (SCA-R) for the High Performance Computing Modernization Program.
Position Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Performs risk analysis for HPCMP's networks, enclaves, data and software to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of these systems.
- Identifies, develops, and recommends for approval plans and actions that fully implement IT security initiatives throughout HPCMP.
- Develops reporting procedures and guidance for collateral agency staff, or subordinate activities to ensure timely development of programs and products required to meet network security requirements.
- Develops directives to implement DoD and HPCMP policy actions related to cybersecurity.
- Provides a high level of expertise in the development of operational and implementation plans that govern the network security program.
- Participates in strategic and tactical planning of network security initiatives originating at DoD and HPCMP levels.
- Conducts research and provides guidance to enhance general understanding and provides clarification and recommends changes to DoD directives regarding network security.
- Coordinates with HPCMP leadership, cybersecurity professionals, system engineers, and other responsible agents to identify goals, objectives, and milestones and coordinates these objectives and milestones at appropriate levels within HPCMP and DoD.

Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship
- Applicants must be able to meet the OPM Qualification Standards of the position being filled. Office of Personnel Management Qualification Standards can be found at: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/2200/information-technology-it-management-series-2210-alternative-a/
- Must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lowest grade level or equivalent grade level of the position being advertised
- Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance
- Males must be registered for Selective Service, see www.sss.gov
- This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to pre-employment drug testing as a condition of employment, and participation in random drug testing
