THE POSITION IN A NUTSHELL
Reporting to the General Manager/Division Manager, the Security Manager is a vital member of leadership team. This position manages the sales team, as well as the combination of service and solutions team. The role is responsible for profitably growing margins, expanding relationships with our customers and driving new business and reoccurring revenues to achieve organizational objectives. This position is also responsible for constantly improving the level of service provided to internal and external customer base by delivering to the goals set forth by the organization.

$200K-$215K based on experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (and doing well!)
- Formulating sound business plans that includes budgeting, cost analysis and cost controls.
- Leadership for Security Solutions, Service, Admin and Sales including the coordination of activities.
- Knowing the customers and engaging with them on successful issue resolution.
- Driving organizational and process capabilities, including understanding all cost infrastructure in order to champion and leading team members to identify process improvements for the most efficient operations; and effective delivery of projects to ensure cash flow.
- Drive operating efficiencies. Regularly monitor results and address issues and concerns that impede positive results.
- Enabling the organization to deliver on billing and collection obligations.
- Customer satisfaction across solutions and/or service with customers in the defined geography; maintaining a high level of quality and timely service to customers for maximum retention.
- Profitable service and solutions growth determined by close out margin, service margin levels, budget management, customer feedback.
- Achieve the Division revenue growth plans. Regularly monitor results and address issues and concerns that impede positive results.
- Ownership of talent acquisition, management, and development to ensure a skilled and engaged front line management team.
- Mentor, motivate and coach management team on lead generation, conversion rates, recruiting, and other critical areas.
- Build a high-performance culture to include performance reviews and development initiatives.
- As new products and services are introduced, oversee sales team to ensure consistency in implementation.
- Comply with industry standard procedures and Sciens safety programs/policies.
- Drive Sciens Building Solutions core values.
- Other duties as assigned.
WHAT WE LIKE ABOUT YOU
- Five to seven years of experience in a sales and/or operations management role within the security industry or related construction services field.
- Excellent organizational, decision-making, team builder and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate to a diverse group of individuals, including company leadership, regional staff, customers, and vendors.
- Ability to attract, develop, grow, and retain a team.
- Knowledge of current security, fire and life safety systems.
- Strong understanding of Profit and Loss statements and key financial drivers.
- Ability to understand the technical aspects of the product lines and applications as necessary to make informed management decisions.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
- College or University degree preferred.
- Strong computer skills, proficient at Microsoft Office and experience in the use of CRM systems.
- Valid driver's license.
- Able to occasionally travel by air and/or ground overnight, as necessary.
