The Security Manager will support the Strategic Business Unit Security Manager and programmatic cross-functional leadership in direct support of National Security and contractual requirements for Special Access Programs (SAPs) based on the NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 series, JSIG, and ICD-705. The selected candidate will directly manage/supervise a team of entry level to experienced security professionals and will be focal point for all security related tasks and matters in their assigned program. This position requires a subject matter expert in security policy and procedure implementation who must have demonstrated experience in developing executable plans with measurable results, implementing cost effective approaches to policy implementation, and developing Plans of Action and Milestones to mitigate threats and vulnerabilities.

Must possess a valid driver's license for escorting individuals across business locations. This position requires that you possess a minimum of a current, final Top Secret clearance with an investigation not older than six (6) years on the first day of employment. You will be required to travel on company business. This position is located in Tucson, AZ.

What You Will Do

• Manage the oversight and implementation of contractual security requirements for classified program areas, personnel, processes and activities.
• Manage a small to mid-sized team of security professionals to include scheduling, coaching, training and evaluating performance.
• Set team objectives and milestones to ensure efficient operations.
• Partner with personnel across functional organizations in support of business objectives, while ensuring compliance with US Government and Raytheon Company directives and policies.
• Oversee the development and implementation local SOPs, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance and constancy.
• Manage the implementation of a self-inspection program to include evaluating findings, and direct the implementation and re-evaluation of the corrective action(s).
• Provide security support during Government inspections.
• Investigate security infractions/violations, prepare reports specifying the potential for loss or compromise, and provide associated corrective actions.
• Collaborate with and assist the ISSO/ISSM on implementation of JSIG requirements and approved sanitization procedures for hardware and test equipment.
• Inspect, prepare for accreditation, and maintain secure facilities in accordance with ICD 705 standards.
• Evaluates resource needs to develop proposals.
• This position may require travel on company business.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 8 years relevant experience OR an advanced degree in a related field and 5 years experience OR in the absence of a degree 12 years experience is required.
• Requires experience in leading and managing the execution of security processes and projects within a SAP/SCI work area; broad knowledge and skills within the SAP/SCI security discipline.
• Experience executing the NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 series, and ICD-705.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualification We Prefer

• Master's Degree major in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or other related field of study.
• Related training with Defense Security Service, Center for Development of Security Excellence or equivalent security certification programs.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
