As a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst II, you'll support Redfin's corporate enterprise technologies. You will monitor Redfin's security event sources, and respond to alerts or identify and create new correlation rules or runbooks.

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with all applicable disclosure requirements.
Base Pay Range: $111,700.00 - 151,000.00. Actual base pay will depend on varying circumstances, including the position, location, individual qualifications, market finances, and other operational business needs. Compensation may also include bonuses and equity.

As a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst II, you'll support Redfin's corporate enterprise technologies. You will monitor Redfin's security event sources, and respond to alerts or identify and create new correlation rules or runbooks.
The Role
- You will respond to security alerts, researching and contextualizing events within the Redfin environment.
- You are comfortable exploring multiple sources of information to build context and understand risk.
- You will partner with IT and development teams to integrate security measures in technology deployments and integrations.
- You will communicate across Redfin teams to help build event context and drive remediation for security events.
- You will build and refine playbooks and runbooks, and perform knowledge-sharing with other resources on response activities and best practices.
About You
- You are familiar with the Incident Response life cycle
- You have at least 3 years of experience in a SOC
- You have proficiency in monitoring a SEIM, triaging alerts, and following investigation/response runbooks
- You have hands-on experience with EDR solutions like SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, MS Defender.
- You have at least 1 year of experience with Unix/Linux and Windows
- You have experience with AWS or equivalent public cloud services
- The position requires an on-call rotation
