Job Summary
The Manager, Security Operations located in Dallas, TX will lead the Information Security team in monitoring, detecting, and responding to information/cyber threats throughout the OBE environment. This role involves implementing information controls, managing incident response and business continuity, and ensuring compliance with security standards through the reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).

Job Summary
The Manager, Security Operations located in Dallas, TX will lead the Information Security team in monitoring, detecting, and responding to information/cyber threats throughout the OBE environment. This role involves implementing information controls, managing incident response and business continuity, and ensuring compliance with security standards through the reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
Here's What You will Get to Do
- Manage, grow and develop the team: Manage critical role planning and skill readiness for current and future team members.
- Implement information security policies: Ensure policies and procedures are being followed through the generation, collection and analysis of control evidence to protect the organization's assets.
- Incident response management: Lead the response to information incidents, including detection, containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Security monitoring: Oversee the monitoring of security systems, including Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools.
- Threat analysis: Analyze security threats and vulnerabilities to develop mitigation strategies.
- Team management: Recruit, train, and supervise information analysts and other team members.
- Reporting: Establish and monitor key performance indicators to assess the impact of learning programs on operational efficiency. Prepare and present reports on information status and incidents to senior management.
- Collaboration: Work with other departments to integrate information measures into all aspects of the organization's operations.
- Continuous Improvement: Utilize data-driven insights to continuously refine and improve the relevancy and impact of leadership development initiatives.
- Third-party Management: Manage the effectiveness, coverage and service level expectations of the Information Security departments various security services vendors.
Here's What We are Looking For
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in information, with at least 6 years in a managerial role.
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent certifications.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls), network protocols, encryption, and cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships at all organizational levels. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects. Skilled in data analysis to measure program effectiveness and inform decision-making.
