MANE has an opening for a Senior Account Executive position in our Consumer Goods Fragrance Division. The primary focus will be to drive business growth by identifying and exploring new prospects and market opportunities leading to long-term, strategic partnerships in line with organizational objectives.
As a Senior Account Executive, you must have prior success cultivating and selling in the Fragrance Industry to all levels of management, including Procurement and C-suite of large and medium size corporations within the B2B space with a medium to long sales cycle. Ideally, you are bringing a vast contact base and new clients that are not in our current portfolio.
You should demonstrate excellent analytical, listening, and problem-solving skills as well as a strong ability to recognize closing opportunities. You should be a memorable, goal-oriented self-starter, with a strong passion for sales and business development. A high level of customer centricity, perseverance and willingness to win in a competitive market environment are a must.
You must be prepared to travel up to 30 percent which includes local and US domestic travel. This position has geographical flexibility, either in NJ or the Mid-West.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and research potential target clients and new market opportunities through network, industry events and due diligence process
- Cold calling to prospective clients to develop business relationship and to position MANE as partner of choice, obtain access to key decision makers and build & nurture relationships
- Develop a network of contacts to attract new clients and partnerships in the B2B space
(co-man/I&I/VCs) and create strategic, long-term partnerships - Develop, communicate and implement sales strategy & account plans to meet & exceed sales targets
- Manage & execute complex and demanding projects by taking a lead role within cross-functional teams
- Determine priority and service level given to each account based on sales potential and sales maintenance in close collaboration with Management
- Monitor market trends/industry news and competitive landscape in close collaboration with category teams to present new business ventures
- Add qualified prospects to sales pipeline, track, categorize and prioritize accordingly
- Close new business deals by coordinating requirements and developing & negotiating contracts
- Drive the end-to-end sales process from brief to contract, provide feedback and after-sales support
- Establish sales and revenue projections including budgeting and forecasting
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- B.S. degree required
- 5-10 years in broader fragrance industry/FMCG experience
- 3-5 years in sales in the fragrance industry
- Proven working experience as Business Development or Sales Manager
- Technical knowledge preferred
- Proven sales track record
- In depth market & industry knowledge
