Senior Account Executive - Healthcare Sector

Join our Healthcare team as a Senior Account Executive and be pivotal in helping families navigate their care options during critical transition periods. As the representative of our company, you will liaise directly with hospitals and skilled nursing facilities, coordinating with healthcare professionals to facilitate seamless transitions for families needing urgent care placements. This role offers the exhilarating challenge of expanding our reach and impact in your assigned territory through strategic networking and robust relationship management.

Salary: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Proactively work within the fast-paced healthcare industry to assist families in finding the right community or home care agency as they move out of a medical facility.
  • Achieve monthly targets by generating qualified patient referrals from your portfolio of assigned accounts.
  • Develop and expand your account book, actively increasing referral volumes through strategic account management and networking.
  • Conduct regular outreach like cold calls and service presentations to nurture new relationships within each account.
  • Provide ongoing education to families about care options available and coordinate with a Healthcare Senior Living Advisor to ensure families select an appropriate senior living option.
  • Collaborate closely with Healthcare Senior Living Advisors to meet family placement targets into suitable care facilities.
  • Implement and test new initiatives within your territory to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of sales and customer relationship processes.
  • Maintain rigour in follow-ups with referral sources to solidify the value proposition of our services and adapt strategies based on discharge outcomes.

Minimum Position Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • At least three years of proven experience in outside sales and meeting sales quotas.
  • Demonstrated ability to present effectively and overcome objections in varied sales scenarios.
  • Candidates should thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be adept at independently managing tasks.
  • Availability for local travel within territory on a daily basis.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, and experience with CRM software (Salesforce preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Direct experience in healthcare or hospital sales is highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrated track record of working effectively within multifunctional teams to leverage broader team skills and achieve sales success.

  • Superior networking and relationship-building skills, especially pertinent in dealing with healthcare professionals.
