Job Summary:

The Senior Account Manager (SAM) is a key member within a Risk Solutions team accountable for the day-to-day servicing and marketing needs of Lockton clients in accordance with Lockton procedures. The Senior Account Manager will support the unit to facilitate the renewal process, business retention, and growth while delivering risk management solutions that positively impact our clients' business.

EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS

  • Convey standards of excellence in line with Lockton's operating procedures by adhering to standardized policies, processes, and systems
  • Be an integral part of day-to-day client servicing encompassing strong client, carrier, and internal team communication
  • Review and analyze quotes to assure coverage is in accordance with submission/exposure, participate in renewal negotiations with carriers, and actively participate in client proposal presentation
  • Execute all changes requested on the program during the policy term, monitor receipt of the policy and endorsements, and validate accuracy
  • Review and negotiate insurance programs with Account Executive oversight and guidance on various lines of coverage
  • Participate in various initiatives that support achievement of growth goals within the team
  • Handle special projects as assigned

Compensation and Benefits

The entry base salary offered for this opportunity may vary, and is contingent upon candidate education, skills, abilities, essential competencies, experience, professional designations, unique qualifications, and geographic location.

Performance Bonus: This role may be eligible for an annual performance bonus, based upon the financial performance of the organization and the individual contributions of the Associate.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of Commercial Insurance Brokering experience
  • Ability to represent the practice and Lockton with integrity and professionalism at all times
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with Associates, Producers, and clients at all levels of responsibility
  • Lifelong learner excited by a challenge and looking for consistent personal and professional growth
  • Strong customer service and project management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, time management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Willingness to expand knowledge and effectiveness in insurance industry through extended insurance education
