Senior Accountant

Century Group has partnered with an Environmental Services organization who is seeking a Senior Accountant. This is an onsite position located in Oakland. This is a direct hire position. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting salary: $97,000 to $120,000 per year.

Job Description:

• Maintain completely accurate records of the company's financial data while leading accounting staff to strict adherence to GAAP, establish and monitor strong internal controls and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion in regard to company operations, financial information, and other sensitive materials.
• Oversee functions of accounts payable and accounts receivable departments.
• Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and documented.
• Manage Tax compliance.
• Oversee payroll compliance, including; tax withholdings, garnishments, reimbursements & deductions, and benefit contributions.

Requirements:

• Software: Microsoft Dynamics
• 5-7 years' experience
