ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant at LVT, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting expertise, proficiency in financial analysis, and a keen eye for detail. As a Senior Accountant at LVT, you'll be at the forefront of managing the monthly accounting close cycle, handling journal entries, conducting account reconciliations, and ensuring sales tax compliance. The ideal candidate is dependable and responsible, brings a strong work ethic, and enjoys both individual and collaborative work. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Financial reporting: Help prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
  • General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
  • Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation and support for audit inquiries.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Sales tax reporting: Oversee the processing of sales tax returns and ensure ongoing compliance with each state.
  • Compliance: Stay current with changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance with applicable laws and standards.


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting roles, with demonstrated progression in responsibility.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Netsuite, Acumatica).
  • Thorough understanding of US GAAP and experience in financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
