What You'll Be Doing
As a Senior Accountant with Chelsea Investment Corporation, you will be primarily responsible for accurately verifying and maintaining financial records as well as providing the timely review and processing of key accounts payable and accounts receivable matters.

What You'll Need to Perform the Role
You'll use your bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, at least five (5) years of experience in financial reporting roles, preferably in the construction industry or a related industry such as real estate, tax, banking, finance, or public administration, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) to be successful in this role. You will also need to have loan draw experience in some capacity. An equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skill, and abilities have been attained also provides the necessary components to perform the Senior Accountant role.

Hiring Range
$85k to $100k on an annualized basis, depending on qualifications.
The pay range for this position starts as listed in the job posting but may change based on education and experience. Final compensation is determined by various factors, such as education, training, experience, work location, required travel (if any), and external market conditions. In addition to salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off including a generous holiday schedule.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Senior Accountant with Chelsea Investment Corporation, you will be primarily responsible for accurately verifying and maintaining financial records as well as providing the timely review and processing of key accounts payable and accounts receivable matters.
Additionally, your tasks will include, but not be limited to:
- Preparing loan draws and communicating with stakeholders
- Adjusting and reallocating draw budgets
- Maintaining financial records for real estate pre-development costs
- Recording settlement statements for real estate closings
- Tracking and recording loan interest, permits, fees, and deposits
- Assisting with cost certification and tax credit reporting
- Coordinating, collecting, and recording financial information
What You'll Need to Perform the Role

- Proficiency using Microsoft Dynamics PG, Sage 300 CRE/Timberline, Procore and/or Textura

- Keen attention to detail with focused adherence to strict deadlines and procedures
- Sound problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to exercise sound independent judgment

- Teamwork mindset and temperament to work effectively with a diverse group of people
- Effective ability to communication clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
