Job brief:

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in our financial operations, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our accounting processes. You will be responsible for managing and reconciling multiple bank accounts, monitoring cash balances, and collaborating with various departments to support the company's financial needs. Your expertise in accounting principles and software will be essential in maintaining the general ledger, preparing journal entries, and assisting with both month-end and year-end close processes.

The impact you'll make:
  • Coordinate and reconcile all banking transactions for multiple bank accounts, monitoring
    daily cash balances and ensuring adequate liquidity.
  • Review various cash accounting charges to the company including corporate card, purchase card, and employee expense.
  • Coordinate with finance and operations to understand future operational cash flow needs and develop recommendations to adjust account funds as necessary to support.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes.

What you've accomplished:
  • 5+ years of accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Concur) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
