Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Staff Accountant with a robust background in managing accounting functions for multiple entities. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in consolidating financials, overseeing complex accounting processes, and ensuring accurate financial reporting across various business units. This role demands a strategic thinker with excellent organizational skills and a strong understanding of multi-entity accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities:
Multi-Entity Accounting: Manage accounting functions for multiple business entities, ensuring accurate and timely consolidation of financial statements. Oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
Month-End and Year-End Close: Perform month-end and year-end closing processes for all entities. Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Internal Controls and Compliance: Assist in implementing internal controls and procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies across all entities.
Accounts Payable Management: Assist with the accounts payable process, including providing guidance on processing invoices, payment approvals, and vendor reconciliations.
Audit Coordination: Support internal and external audits. Provide necessary documentation and ensure compliance with audit requirements for all entities.
Tax Compliance: Assist with tax planning and compliance for multiple entities. Assist in preparing tax filings and ensure adherence to state and local tax regulations.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in multi-entity accounting. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and operations.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with finance team members and other departments to support the overall financial operations. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff as needed.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation is highly preferred.
Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience, with significant experience in managing financial operations for multiple business entities.
In-depth knowledge of GAAP, multi-entity accounting principles, and consolidation practices.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Expensify preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
