Job Summary:

The Senior Accountant is an integral part of the accounting team and will be participating in all parts of the corporate accounting cycle. The Senior Accountant will be familiar with closing processes and best practices and work across the organization to improve enterprise processes. This role will manage the closing processes across multiple entities and participate in / develop integration processes of acquired entities.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Preparing accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
  • Collect and analyzes financial data ensuring all reporting is following SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines.
  • Completing analysis/reconciliations of income statement and balance sheet accounts and investigating variances from forecasts or historical trends.
  • Driving continuous improvement across company and implements efficient and effective procedures.
  • Maintaining internal control and process documentation.
  • Supporting interim and year-end reporting and audit requirements.
  • Leveraging tools to develop and maintain reporting for key metrics, including analyzing and communicating key drivers.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Experience & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
  • 5+ years of professional accounting experience required.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, V-lookup, etc...)
  • Experience using accounting software required (i.e., Sage, Dynamic, Great Plains, QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc...)
  • Month, quarter, year-end close experience, journal entries, and financial statement preparation and analysis.
  • Solid understanding of corporate accounting including but not limited to Procure to pay processes, order to cash, auditing, etc.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong customer focus.
  • Able to support and communicate effectively throughout all levels of the organization.
  • Willing and able to make recommendations for process creation and/or process improvement.
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills.


Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, talking on the phone, attending virtual online meetings, and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
