Position Summary

Join our dynamic team as a hybrid Senior Accountant and play a pivotal role in our financial operations. You will be directly involved in critical month-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Collaborate across departments to resolve accounting issues and drive improvements. This position will report to Controller and working closely with accounting team from headquarter.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Work closely with the VP of Sales, Regional Sales Manager and other department to manage and track partner programs, including contractually and promotional offers:
    • Manage multiple partner programs accounts and validate claim
    • Co-ordinate with external partners for promotion payments.
    • Identify and communicate unauthorized deductions to customers for further resolution
    • Provide authorized debit/credit memos to customers.
    • Evaluate and initiate internal process improvements
    • Conform with and abide by all regulation, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
    • Drive process improvement in marketing programs as well as new projects.
    • Handle and process marketing claims.
  • Prepares monthly various partner accruals including but not limited sales allowance.
  • Prepares various monthly managerial reports and various analyses.
  • Collaborates with cross-function teams including sales & marketing, operation, IT and Finance.
  • Be a backup person for the US Accounts Payable, US Accounts Receivable and G/L.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Master's degree or relevant certification is preferred (e.g. CPA, CFA designation).
  • A minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in General Accounting or related roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data analysis tools, and different software platforms such as NetSuite.
  • Excellent knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems and processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights with little external guidance.
  • Be a subject matter expert across key financial data and metrics, with the ability to synthesize inputs and connect insights, and partner cross-functionally to deliver desired results.
  • Must possess a strong work ethic, and be an enthusiastic team player.
  • Strong analytical mind, ability to synthesize complex matters and present issues and recommendations in a clear manner.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable in building relationships with colleagues from different backgrounds.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
