Title: Sr. Accountant
Location: Ashburn, VA
POSITION SUMMMARY:
The Senior Accountant's responsibilities include preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax returns, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Daily cash reporting, monthly bank reporting and related analysis
Monthly responsibilities including journal entries, account reconciliations, flux analyses and reporting
Annual financial statement preparation along with supporting schedules
Support with annual and periodic audits, including preparing support
Assistance with monthly commission reporting and calculations
Other ad hoc accounting and reporting as needed
Could include up to 10% travel

Education/Experience (Desired):
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field
+ years of experience as an accountant
Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations
Public and Private industry experience is highly preferred
Computer Skills:
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software (required)
NetSuite experience is a plus
Certificates and Licenses:
No certificates or licenses required

Pay Range: $72,671 - $108,954 per year
