This position supports the Caterpillar Oil & Gas and Marine Division's (COGMD) Services & Aftermarket Growth team. This role will provide financial analysis and business support for all significant investments made by COGMD to drive profitable growth. Emphasis will be placed on Caterpillar's Operating & Execution (O&E) Model to drive decision-making that enhances enterprise value and performance, while positioning the division and Caterpillar for long-term success. The best candidate will have the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams, strong problem-solving skills, execute change management, effective communication and a customer-oriented mindset.

What You Will Do:

• Developing rigorous, fact based, quantitative analysis to support recommendations, ensuring strategic and financial soundness and alignment for any recommendations.
• Providing support in the development of integrated aftermarket value propositions, including analysis of competitive strategies and offerings, market economics and competitive positioning.
• Structuring and solving business problems, collaborating and coordinating with a range of internal stakeholders to make recommendations on a wide range of growth opportunities.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams on strategic projects, bringing timely and useful insight, perspective and analytical support.
• Understanding customer business models and requirements

What You Have:

• Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance
• Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision
• Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems
• Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment
• Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
• Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
• Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.

• Strong level of strategic analysis, problem solving, business acumen and governance background.
• Strong analytical skills are required to perform detailed financial analysis and prepare strategic plans
• Excellent interpersonal skills are required in order to work across functions and with external customers

Summary Pay Range:
$126,000.00 - $189,000.00
