Senior Accounting Analyst

A well-established Retail Company is looking to add a Senior Accounting Analyst to their team. The Senior Accounting Analyst will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities:
Support month-end close process including preparation of journal entries
Perform balance sheet reconciliation and P&L analysis with supporting schedules
Review vendors activities to determine accruals for the month
Will handle reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
Assist with streamlining processes
Support the implementation and integration of new systems
Make recommendations for process improvements
Support external financial audit activities
Assist in special projects as needed

Requirements:
5+ years of Finance/ Accounting analysis experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
Knowledge of ERP systems
Strong Excel skills
Detail oriented with excellent analytical skills and interest in identifying and fixing problems
Proactive, motivated and self-starter with roll-up-the-sleeves work ethics
Experience streamlining processes
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)

Preferred Skills:
CPA or CPA track
Experience with Microsoft Navision/Dynamics
Implementation experience

Compensation: $85,000-$95,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
