Requirements:
- Must have an active TS/SCI Clearance
- 8+ years' experience in a field directly related to information technology
- CompTIA Sec+ certification required
- Completed Bachelor's degree & 8 years' experience or High School & 12 years of Help Desk or related experience
- At least 5+ years of directly related experience supporting Active Directory operations and engineering
- Subject matter expert in configuration of the Active Directory and Windows Server domain controllers
- Strong understanding of architecting and configuring Microsoft Windows OS technology including AD Forests, Domains, Trusts, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and Organizational Units
- Proficient in Windows PowerShell - Able to understand scripts written & maintained by the team running on various networks
- Perform common administrative tasks - Apply security patches/fixes & configure and maintain various software use in conjunction with Active Directory
- Serve as a technical expert for Tier 1/2/3 support groups
- Experience with Remedy, ServiceNow, and customer service, in general
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise and work with cross-functional teams to rectify
- Coordinate with IT service providers and communicate outages and plans for recovery
- The candidate must have a strong work ethic and self-motivated
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Proven ability in working independently with minimal oversight
- Proven experience in recommending solutions that improve customer satisfaction and\or the mission of the customer
- ALL-AROUND AWESOME TEAM PLAYER with a passion for serving/helping others!
Desired:
- Scripting experience - python, ansible
- Azure or AWS Experience
- Experience with Exchange, Jabber, Cisco UC
- Related Industry certifications - MCSA/MCSE, CCNA/CCNP, RHCSA, VCA/VCP
