We are currently seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to join our team. The role will involve a combination of payroll processing and participation in various projects. This is a hybrid position, requiring one day on-site per week at our Montreal office located at 5800 St-Denis, Quebec.

Payroll Processing


  • Ensure compliance with the 1% training fee law.
  • Balance and issue tax slips and summaries, as well as manage the year-end process (T4, RL-1, W2).
  • Handle monthly and quarterly remittances to various government agencies and external suppliers.
  • Assist with GL account mapping and other general payroll accounting requirements.
  • Periodically adjust taxable benefits in employee records.
  • Coordinate internal and external audit mandates.
  • Respond to LMU & RGAP requests for each legal entity.
  • Provide support to colleagues responsible for payroll processing during absences or special projects (payroll processing, issuance of records of employment, etc.).


Projects


  • Analyze, understand, and configure payroll systems.
  • Be dynamic, solution-oriented, autonomous, and rigorous in managing priorities to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Agile IT team to resolve technical issues.
  • Work with the HRIS team and HR colleagues on initiatives affecting Canadian and US payroll systems.



When your expertise drives us.


  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Canadian and US payroll processing (full cycle).
  • Are a certified professional with the NPI (or in the process of obtaining).
  • Are a certified professional with the APA (an asset).
  • Have knowledge of payroll and T&A systems (ADP, PeopleSoft, Kronos).
  • Are analytical, curious about systems, and eager to contribute to improving operational efficiency.
  • Have experience in project coordination and as a subject matter expert (SME).
  • Bilingual in French and Englishboth spoken and written(regular interactions with English-speaking contacts outside Quebec).
