Description:
The Senior Analytics Consultant will play a pivotal role in transforming data into valuable insights that will drive business growth. This role will work on advanced analytics projects, provide strategic guidance and work with stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making processes and organizational change. This role requires a deep understanding of data analytics, excellent critical thinking skills, and the ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders. This role will also support the following areas: product, clinical, operational teams, and data science.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Manage analytics projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
Build and automate complex algorithms in SQL to support client's needs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
Work with data science lead providing insights that will lead to development, implementation, or refinement of machine learning algorithms.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
Identify cost-saving opportunities, optimize resource allocation, and recommend process improvements.
Ensure that all data science practices comply with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and other privacy standards.
Advocate for ethical use of patient data and adherence to confidentiality guidelines.
Communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, actionable way to guide strategic decisions.
Stay current with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in data science, machine learning, and healthcare analytics. Apply innovative approaches to continuously improve the impact of data science within the organization.

Required Skills/Abilities/Attributes:
Ability to influence others through the articulation of ideas, concepts, benefits, etc.
Highly proficient in SQL, and dashboard development in Power BI.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical audiences.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a demanding environment.
Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation/ETL tools.
Familiarity with healthcare standards such as HL7, FHIR, and ICD-10 is a plus.
Strong understanding of healthcare systems, clinical workflows, and the challenges healthcare organizations face.
Ability to translate complex analytical results into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex data science concepts to a variety of audiences, including clinicians, clients, and executives.
Knowledge of data privacy regulations and ethical considerations in healthcare analytics, including HIPAA compliance.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor's degree required.
Master's or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field preferred.
5+ years of experience in data analytics and data visualization platforms (Power BI).
Minimum of 1 year of Azure Data Factory, preferably with git repository and pipeline deployment.
Proven experience in building and deploying machine learning models and statistical models for healthcare applications (e.g., patient risk prediction, cost prediction, resource allocation).
Experience with healthcare data types such as Electronic Health Records (EHR), claims data, and patient outcomes data.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
