Job Description

We have an opening for a Senior Project Manager/Project Architect in Savannah, GA. The Project Architect/Project Manager is responsible for the technical execution and delivery of exceptional projects. Revit knowledge and a desire to mentor are requested traits from our team.
Responsibilities
  • Lead project teams working within the Georgia Architecture studio.
  • Be a member of a multi-office architecture practice sharing, contributing, and learning best practices for delivering exceptional projects.
  • Work on local government/civic, academic, and healthcare projects primarily.
  • Apply broad general knowledge of architectural principles and practices.
  • Be proficient in Revit Architecture and complementary design tools.
  • Assign tasks to and direct architects, technicians, and administrative staff.
  • Function effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Work on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects.
  • Understand the entire project process including development/scoping, design, and construction.
  • Design and detail a complete project, system component, or process.
  • Prepare complete project documents including the Project Manual/Specifications.
  • Understand economic and decision analysis principles, including financial, regulatory, and environmental issues.
  • Plan and coordinate detailed aspects of the architectural work.
  • Prepare scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
  • Independently perform most assignments with instructions as to the general results expected.
  • Interact with clients, customers, officials, contractors, and others.
  • Attend project meetings and present specific aspects of architectural assignments.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills and continuous improvement with decision-making, time management, and delegation.
Essential Skills
  • 5-10 years of experience designing/managing architectural projects within local government, commercial, K-12 schools, and hospitals.
  • Great architectural design experience with Revit.
  • Experience with all design phases (SD, DD, and CD).
  • Ability to produce quality documents, meet project schedules, and budgets.
  • Great communication with clients, vendors, and contractors to represent our firm professionally.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Experience with design-build and construction administration.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture from an accredited architectural program.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Architect registered in Georgia or completion of the NCARB Program.
  • Proficiency in Revit.
  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
  • Self-starter, team player, and ability to establish good working relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, team members, and other employees.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Adaptability to changing business needs.
  • Ability to use good judgment and make timely decisions.
Work Environment

Working office with the architectural team onsite from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. This role is based in Georgia and primary travel would be within your immediate vicinity or across the State of Georgia as travel to project sites may be required. We are a community of over 30 knowledgeable planning and design professionals that operate with a collaborative, client-focused, team approach. By bringing together diverse expertise across multiple offices, we build teams to best support each individual project and client.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
