We are hiring a talented Associate, specializing in IT Infrastructure, to join our technology team.

Primary Role:

This is a client-facing consulting role for a Security technology professional. In this role you will be responsible for understanding the client's project needs and designing appropriate technology systems, infrastructure, and solutions to fit their project budget and schedule.

Essential functions:
  • Design and document up to enterprise class access control systems, alarm monitoring/notification systems, and digital video surveillance systems . IP and network bandwidth/transport requirements for IP video w/ storage and archiving, and familiarity with the major manufacturer and integrator firms.
  • Research products and work with manufacturers and vendors to ensure viability of the system designs
  • Assess client needs and develop a basis of design and budget.
  • Assimilate architectural and engineering drawings
  • Create systems drawings and/or markups on supplied backgrounds.
  • Provide clear direction and manage the internal project team(s) to produce high quality deliverables within the project milestone dates.
  • Monitor and manage profitability of each project from kickoff to completion.
  • Management and participation in AOC and A/E project meetings.
  • Develop lasting relationships with existing clients and end users. Generate new relationships that will lead to new work (Client Development)
  • The ability to directly engage with our Clients for long periods of time with minimal management direction or oversight necessary.
  • Evaluate RFPs and develop proposals.
  • Assist in marketing and business development processes.
  • Mentor more junior team members to help further the security design efforts.

Required Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to explain complicated systems in a way that a non-technical client can understand and make appropriate decisions.
  • The ability to track project deliverables and associated activities while communicating the project requirements to both the internal and external team members.
  • The ability to communicate and present to both high level project executives and technical staff, , in writing as well as in virtual/in-person meetings.
  • Problem solver with a strong team player mentality that is able to work independently, productively, and with minimal supervision.
  • Working knowledge of Bluebeam Review Software(for markups).
  • CAD and/or Revit experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of various Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Project.
  • Be detail oriented and organized while being able to multitask and shift priorities with ease.
  • Knowledge of existing and emerging security technologies along with integration capabilities of systems is preferred.
  • General knowledge of IT networking and Audiovisual technologies

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Security technology systems design or design/build field, post degree.
  • Network design experience and CAD / Revit experience is a plus.
  • Background should include systems design/integration, project management and systems research and development.
  • Desired certifications: ASIS: PSP or CPP
  • PMP is a plus
  • Security clearance, a plus
