Position Responsibilities

The Senior Associate, Team Lead will join the Shareholder Services ("SS") Team within the Firm's growing IC Department which serves as a key point of contact to the Firm's investor base. This role requires a motivated and proactive individual with strong attention to detail to manage tight reporting deadlines.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Managing a team of Analysts / Associates who are dedicated to supporting Golub Capital's retail product (GCRED) and upcoming retail fund launches
  • Overseeing the processing of new investor subscriptions, routine account maintenance and transfers of interest by the Firm's third-party transfer agent
  • Coordinating between internal teams and high net worth individuals / wealth managers / wirehouse operations groups.
  • Overseeing day-to-day team management and acting as the primary escalation point for questions or issues
  • Leading wirehouse onboarding, custom reporting requests and subscription platform onboarding
  • Acting as the key relationship contact for electronic onboarding platforms (e.g., iCapital, +Subscribe, CAIS) and managing transfer agent responsibilities
  • Liaising with internal departments including BDC Fund Accounting, Tax, Compliance and the Investor Partners Group
  • Facilitating collaboration with the Technology Solutions Team to drive system enhancement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce risks
  • Ad-hoc IC projects


Candidate Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of related experience, ideally at a wealth manager or asset manager with focus on alternative investments and retail products
  • Must have prior management / people leadership experience
  • Proficient in MS Office products, specifically Word and Excel
  • Technical skills and financial background a strong plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM a plus
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deliverables, learn quickly and independently and improve processes

Compensation & Benefits
For Illinois Only: It is expected that the base salary range for this position will be $90,000 to $140,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as skills, experiences and qualifications for the role. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation, sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, the employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the Firm reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance, Firm or individual department / team performance and market factors.
