Senior Backend Engineer (Java)

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will join a dynamic team Kunai is assembling to integrate seamlessly with a major global banking client's investment arm. In this role, you will champion best practices to build and enhance cutting-edge applications.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of back-end development experience
• Proficient in server-side languages like Java, modern databases, cloud services, and DevOps practices.
• Design robust back-end architectures and develop APIs for scalable and maintainable software systems.
• Experience in automated testing practices to ensure high code quality and system reliability.
• Experience in leading development teams, mentoring junior developers, and promoting a culture of technical excellence.
• A commitment to continuous professional development, with a keen interest in staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Familiarity with the field of private asset-backed finance is a plus.
• Prior enterprise-level or commercial software development experience.
• Adaptability: Openness to learning and applying new technologies and methodologies.
