Job Summary and Qualifications

The Senior BI Developer leverages technical skills to review, analyze, and evaluate revenue cycle reporting solutions supported by the Operations Support & Analytics team. This position will be a key player in transforming data into actionable insights and driving strategic decision-making. It will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze and interpret data, providing actionable insights and recommendations for business improvements.

The Senior BI Developer must be a highly motivated self-starter and enthusiastic learner. Must have the ability to coordinate and communicate with leadership of various levels within the organization.

What you will do in this role:

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies and extract meaningful insights that inform business strategies.
• Create and maintain advanced reports, interactive dashboards, and data visualizations for senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with various departments to define data requirements, collect and clean data from multiple sources, and ensure data accuracy.
• Utilize statistical and machine learning techniques to forecast future trends and model predictive scenarios.
• Builds strong and diverse network of relationships with various stakeholder groups and all levels of staff
• Translate data findings into actionable recommendations for process improvements, cost reduction, revenue optimization, and other business initiatives.
• Provides operational support and trouble-shooting for production systems
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security, and develop data governance best practices within the organization.
• Track KPIs and monitor business performance, continuously evaluating the effectiveness of strategies and initiatives.
• Stay updated with the latest BI tools, technologies, and methodologies, and apply them to enhance data analysis capabilities.

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel and statistical analysis tools.
• Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role, with 3-5 years in data analysis and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex data and extract meaningful insights.
• Teradata, SQL Server, and Big Query database experience required
• Healthcare experience, Revenue Cycle Management experience preferred
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
• Experience interfacing with internal and external stakeholders
• BI tool, Business Analysis Lean Six Sigma, and/or PMP certificates are a plus
