Position Summary
The Senior Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for implementing, configuring, designing, administering, and supporting financial management systems. This role requires solid knowledge of financial systems and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and support business processes.
Specific Responsibilities
- Support financial systems upgrades, data quality, security, user training, and assistance.
- Address user issues and system errors promptly.
- Install, configure, and update financial systems.
- Train users on system functionalities and document procedures.
- Manage and assign user access and security roles.
- Perform system backups and disaster recovery.
- Conduct Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls compliance.
- Translate technical concepts into business terms.
- Optimize systems, conduct ad-hoc analyses, and document processes.
- Ensure seamless integration and functionality of financial systems.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Analytical skills and technical aptitude.
- Expertise in financial management systems, including JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, PowerPlan, Transform AP, and Hubble preferred.
- Understanding of financial systems functionality and business requirements for system implementation, administration, and data analysis.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Effective teamwork in a cross-functional, multi-jurisdictional utility.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage changing priorities and meet critical deadlines.
- Experience with system administration tasks, such as user management, security configurations, and updates.
Required Education and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Alternatively, three years of relevant financial systems experience (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and Financial planning systems) that includes a minimum of 2 years of experience with Oracle Financials, EPM FCCS, and EDM Cloud.
- At least 5 years of experience in a comparable role, focusing on JD Edwards EnterpriseOne financial applications, PowerPlan, Transform AP, and Hubble.
- Proficiency in managing system upgrades, ensuring data quality, and conducting user training sessions.
- Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and internal control procedures.
- Proficient in the use of word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation software, and mainframe application languages.
- Proficient in training and preparing documentation of computer tools for users.

- Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
- Extensive practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts.
- Knowledge of network and PC operating systems.
- Must possess a valid driver's license (minimum Class C) and have a satisfactory driving record.
