JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Business Analyst leads and facilitates scrum ceremonies, program increment planning, and scrum team delivery activities with engineering scrum teams. This role is responsible for monitoring and reporting all scrum team risks and issues; facilitates mitigation and resolution efforts to limit risks; escalates as needed. Additional responsibilities include analysis, creation, and maintenance of various types of requirements documentation for product development efforts as well as testing support.

JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Business Analyst leads and facilitates scrum ceremonies, program increment planning, and scrum team delivery activities with engineering scrum teams. This role is responsible for monitoring and reporting all scrum team risks and issues; facilitates mitigation and resolution efforts to limit risks; escalates as needed. Additional responsibilities include analysis, creation, and maintenance of various types of requirements documentation for product development efforts as well as testing support.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for leading agile scrum ceremonies and program increment planning for engineering scrum teams
- Facilitates engineering team communication between the product management, user experience, development, and quality assurance teams regarding scrum team delivery activities
- Monitors and reports all program increment risks and issues for assigned scrum teams; facilitates mitigation and resolution efforts to limit risks; escalates as needed
- Coordinates cross-team communication and management of dependencies between teams
- Collaborates with Technical Leads to identify tools and techniques to improve efficiency and scrum team execution
- Liaison between business stakeholders and technical resources, interpreting user needs and translating them into more technical language for the developers
- Communicates with engineering and quality assurance teams regularly to ensure accurate understanding of requirements
- Works with product management and engineering teams to ensure requirements align with product feature priorities and technical feasibility
- Analyzes and documents requirements using appropriate textual and graphical techniques, including user stories, diagrams, process models, functional and technical specifications
- Leads product feature workshops with the product management team and business subject matter experts to elicit and document requirements (e.g. creation of user stories)
WORK EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree with at least four of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience (agile business analysis experience desired)
- 3 experience in product development and implementation efforts following a standard software development lifecycle approach (scrum desired)
- Experience with facilitating scrum ceremonies and leading team activities
- Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, methodology development, and user story development with gherkin acceptance criteria
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
- Ability to create systematic and manual operations procedures in both technical and user-friendly language
- Demonstrated effectiveness in a fast-paced rapidly changing environment
- Strong facilitation skills and excellent organization skills
- Extensive knowledge of industry standard development methodologies and technologies.
