You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including mortgage operations, technology, finance, and executive leadership, to identify business opportunities, analyze data, and recommend actionable insights that drive decision-making and improve operational efficiency.

Pay Disclosure:
The starting base pay range for this position is $120,000 to $145,000 annual salary. The actual salary is dependent on many factors such as: work experience, business needs, market demands, and other compensation components. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the analysis of mortgage-related business processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to define strategic initiatives, goals, and success criteria that support business objectives.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis, including trend analysis, performance metrics, and forecasting, to identify key drivers and insights.
- Develop business cases, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analyses to evaluate potential strategic initiatives and investment opportunities.
- Collaborate with technology teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and drive the implementation of system enhancements or new solutions.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements, elicit feedback, and drive consensus on project scope and objectives.
- Create detailed documentation, including business requirements documents, process maps, user stories, and test plans, to support project delivery and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop reporting dashboards to track progress, measure outcomes, and communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Lead cross-functional project teams and serve as a subject matter expert on mortgage-related initiatives, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape in the mortgage industry, and recommend strategic responses and initiatives accordingly.
Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or strategic planning, with a focus on the mortgage industry.
- Strong understanding of mortgage origination, servicing, underwriting, and compliance processes.
- Strong understanding of mortgage industry technologies and integrations providers.
- Proven track record of leading strategic initiatives, process improvement projects, or transformation initiatives in the mortgage industry.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, and extract actionable insights.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, or similar.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and findings to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment towards common goals.
- Project management experience and familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
