This position is based at the headquarters in Charlotte.
Position reports to:
VP - Information Systems Management
The position is a unique opportunity to
Provide direct support for process improvement and standardization initiatives within the Service Activation, Customer Assurance and Finance departments. The Analyst will
work with business users to understand requirements and expectations and facilitate interaction with different functional groups within the organization. This includes evaluation of the current state, gap analysis and recommendations for software development and/or enhancements. The Business Analyst will assist teams in the Service Activation process to improve revenue delivery and deployment activities. The Analyst will assist the Customer Assurance teams in monitoring the customer experience throughout the customer life cycle. The Analyst will assist the Finance team in improving processes for the accurate reporting of the company's financial performance.
The position will serve as the Systems Administrator for the Sitetracker platform, CDG's Elements and Microsoft
Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O). The Business Analyst will support users with application issues and recommend and develop enhancements to the platforms for improved usage.

You are passionate about guiding projects that accurately analyze gaps and root causes of operational tool breaks. You excel at guiding effective configuration changes to financial and operational tools.
You accelerate the adoption of related systems by ensuring teams are adequately trained and knowledgeable about system functionality.
You will maximize company-wide success by evaluating policies and procedures and providing improvement recommendations.
You are knowledgeable about ERP systems, Salesforce, BSS/OSS and other operational platforms. You effectively identify areas of concern, quickly make recommendations for improvement, and effectively communicate and train the approved solution.
You will demonstrate solid interpersonal skills with the ability to establish a rapport, define expectations and gain commitment to project goals and deliverables.
What you will be doing
Analyze, define, and develop complex business processes, methods, and practices to simplify and enhance the customer care, service delivery and finance operations.
Serve as a change agent by leading efforts to enhance processes, reduce time and increase effectiveness.
Provide regular readouts on initiative progress to the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Technology Officer,
VP - Information Systems Management, VP - Service Activation, VP - Customer Assurance and the VP -Controller.
Analyze business partners' operations to understand strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions.
Assist in business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology.
Translate high-level business requirements into functional specifications for the organization and/or vendors. Manage changes to such specifications.
Work with business partners to align technology solutions with the business strategies of Revenue Operations.
Assist Project Managers in the development of project plans and use associated project planning tools as needed.
Develop test plans and coordinate software testing
What you will need
Business or Technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
2+ years' experience as a Business Analyst
2+ years' experience with service delivery, customer care and finance operations
Experience with the following systems: Sitetracker, Elements, Dynamics 365 F&O is highly desirable
Project management or project coordination experience
Telecommunications or utility operations strongly preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated leadership and presentation skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
