Summary

The Senior Business Analyst reports to the Workstream Lead or Project Manager in a management consulting delivery role. The Senior Business Analyst will work within a team to assess current state business processes, design future state business processes, and define business requirements for EAM systems based on the future state processes. In addition, this analyst brings hands on experience in maintenance management as well as diverse enterprise application implementation knowledge.

The Senior Business Analyst will be a self-starter who works with minimal direction, has broad enterprise-scale system implementation experience, and can deliver under pressure.

Success depends on the candidate's ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients as part of the business process assessment and envisioning work and demonstrate an exceptional command of maintenance management business processes.

Responsibilities
  • As part of a consulting team, conduct business process analysis including client interviews, DILO studies, WO data analysis and business process mapping.
  • Create/interpret/explain business process diagrams using Visio or other business process tools.
  • Deliver draft deliverables in a timely manner to senior staff for review and make requested revisions.
  • Have a sense of urgency, identifying and producing needed deliverables on time or early.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify and support hypotheses and conclusions with minimal oversight or direction.
  • Interact with clients on the shop floor, front line supervisors, and middle management regarding the nature of the business process.


Requirements
  • Two to five years' experience in professional services, delivering operational improvement, business transformation, or enterprise application implementation projects.
  • Experience creating/interpreting/explaining business process workflows using Visio or other business process tools.
  • An understanding of basic maintenance concepts e.g. Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, Emergency Maintenance, Asset Reliability is a plus.
  • Experience working within a PMO environment, delivering multi-workstream programs with multiple concurrent interrelated deliverables.
  • Must be highly articulate, from business and technical perspectives, able to quickly produce and present coherent, organized presentations based on clear logic, particularly where client data is limited or questionable.
  • Experience with maintenance management business processes and systems preferred (CMMS, EAM).
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, information systems, finance, accounting, or related discipline desired.
  • Must have consulting and client management skills working with shop floor level clients.
  • Function professionally under pressure with a keen sense of urgency, while managing multiple concurrent projects and deadlines under sometimes ambiguous and often complex circumstances.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skillset. Demonstrates attention to detail, follow-up and has excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask, working on multiple deliverables simultaneously, anticipating and planning for contingencies.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite of tools, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Visio.
