We are looking for a Senior Business Development Executive with a proven track record in Capital Markets and/or Digital Advertising sales to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional with a passion for sales and strategic digital advertising. In this role, you will play a key part in expanding our client base and promoting Stockhouse's digital marketing solutions for public companies and luxury brands.
Accountabilities:
- Proactively identify, prospect, and qualify new sales opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategies to close deals and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
- Monitor sales performance and adjust tactics as needed to achieve goals.
- Develop and execute plans to expand existing accounts and foster long-term client relationships.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends and opportunities.
- Cultivate and maintain effective relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers.
- Engage in consultative sales approaches to address client needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Engage with the local business community to promote the company's brand and services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Work with other departments to align business development efforts with overall company goals.
- Share insights and feedback to support process improvements and collective success.
- Attend industry events and networking functions to enhance the company's visibility.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of creatively pursuing and closing deals (being comfortable selling $100,000+ programs)
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with C-level executives.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
- Proven skills in consultative sales and networking, enabling you to build meaningful connections.
- Proven track record of working effectively in team environments, promoting a respectful and cooperative atmosphere.
- High level of integrity and work ethic.
- Competency in CRM software and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to maximize efficiency.
- Ready and willing to travel as necessary to fulfill job requirements.
- Possession of a broker network and Capital Markets knowledge (specifically micro/small cap business environment) are considered valuable assets.
