The Senior Business Analyst provides strategic business analysis services to business partners. The focus of this position is to work closely with the business units to gain an in-depth understanding of the customer's business strategy, processes, services, and how the business operates so we can identify process improvements to increase operational efficiency and financial results.
The Senior Business Analyst will also work with business units to understand their processes, identify inefficiencies, and provide in-depth business knowledge and advanced technical support to one or more business areas through developed and ad hoc analysis/reporting, as well as designing and programming complex, new processes/reports.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in business process analysis and improvement with advanced technical skills in SQL programming and Excel reporting/modeling. The candidate will also have experience working with cross-functional teams and be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. The Senior Business Operations Analyst must be able to work independently and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement
- Generate reports to track progress and performance against goals
- Monitor KPIs and other metrics to identify areas of improvement
- Perform root cause analysis to identify underlying issues causing problems
- Propose and implement solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines
- Support strategic and financial planning processes with modeling and analysis
- Proven ability to build advanced financial models and translate outputs to summarized insights and recommendations
- Perform ad hoc analyses or business cases to support the evaluation of new opportunities and other key business decisions
- Develop and present monthly financial and operating performance insights to Sr. Leadership
- Act as the liaison between business partners and the programming team to identify issues, perform root cause analysis and provide potential solutions and/or workaround
- Ability to work independently and navigate multiple priorities simultaneously
Skills And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information systems, business, finance, economics, or related field
- 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
- 3+ years of financial business experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Advanced knowledge of SQL
- Experience in forecasting and analysis
- Able to work independently and take initiative to solve problem
- Demonstrate the ability to shape opinion and influence others without direct authority
