As the Senior CDBG-DR Project Manager, you will be the lead project manager of Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) projects and serve as the point-of-contact for complex DR projects, while ensuring compliance with Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations. This role is crucial for maintaining the high standards of our community development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Program and Project Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the CDBG-DR subject matter expert, ensuring program recipients comply with HUD regulations. Participate in the completion of required federal reporting. Analyze related reporting and review results with Team Leader and auditors, as necessary.
  • Policy and Procedure Management: Develop and maintain the Policies & Procedures Guide for CDBG-DR programs, and provide technical assistance to team members and program participants.
  • Project Management: Manage complex CDBG-DR projects, review applications, make funding recommendations, and oversee project implementation.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain relationships with HUD representatives and other external stakeholders, and participate in HUD monitoring visits.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

Graduation from an accredited four year college or university with a major emphasis in the fields of research, planning, economics, finance, public relations, business, corporate finance, journalism, or marketing and four years of full-time experience in specialized technical support work which included responsibility for interpreting laws, rules, and regulations, and/or securing compliance with them; or compiling and evaluating statistical, historical, economic, business, financial or related technical program data;
OR

an equivalent combination of education and experience substituting one year of the required experience for each year (thirty semester or equivalent hours) of the required education.
