We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS. Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using services such as EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation.
- Administer and optimize Kubernetes clusters on Amazon EKS to ensure performance and resource efficiency.
- Deploy and maintain Single Page Applications (SPAs) using AWS services like S3, CloudFront, and API Gateway.
- Manage and scale LAMP stack applications (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) in the cloud.
- Deploy and maintain Ruby on Rails (RoR) applications within AWS environments.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- Configure and manage AWS networking resources, including VPCs, subnets, routing tables, NAT Gateways, VPNs, and security settings.
- Automate cloud operations and resource management using Python and the Boto3 library.
- Enforce cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, security groups, encryption, and secure VPC configurations.
- Establish robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems with tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
- Develop and maintain internal tools to enhance DevOps automation and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
- 7+ years in roles such as Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar.
- 5+ years in software development or a related field.
AWS Expertise:
- Advanced experience with core AWS services, including EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation.
- Strong understanding of AWS networking configurations and security best practices.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Kubernetes management and deploying applications on Amazon EKS.
- Proven ability to deploy SPAs using AWS services like S3, CloudFront, and API Gateway.
- Experience managing LAMP stack applications in cloud environments.
- Proficiency in deploying and maintaining Ruby on Rails applications on AWS.
- Advanced scripting skills in Python and experience with Boto3 for automation.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Cloud Security:
- In-depth knowledge of IAM, VPC security, and encryption best practices.
Monitoring and Logging:
