This role focuses on enhancing cloud security posture within AWS environments through automation, compliance, and incident response. The engineer will deploy security guardrails, manage firewalls, and lead security initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and automate security controls using AWS native tools and third-party solutions.
- Monitor AWS environments for security incidents, conduct investigations, and perform remediation.
- Configure and maintain AWS network security components, including firewalls and access controls.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of security experience, with 4+ years in AWS cloud security.
- Strong scripting skills in Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, or Bash.
- Experience with AWS networking and security services, and security tools like CrowdStrike and Splunk.
- Position requires US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
