About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Commercial Mortgage Loan Administration Specialist to support the Commercial Loan Servicing platform in our Cash Management team. This senior individual will partner and make independent decisions on matters that impact financial risk, recommend business strategies and resolve escalations. They will oversee all aspects of the servicing platform workflow as a subject matter expert as well as prepare and approve Demands for Payoffs and release of escrows. Additionally, they will monitor the general mailbox for requests and wires, prepare and review reports, collaborate with partners in India and participate in audits/RSCA/Controls and work on various other projects as needed.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within the Transactions and Processing area and contribute to large scale planning related to deliverables
  • Lead or participate in internal and external audits for Agency and bank portfolio held loans.
  • Identify, develop and maintain operational procedures and controls while providing recommendations.
  • Resolve complaints independently with COO office and borrowers.
  • Review and analyze moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Review, approve and issue quotes and applications on less complex loan requests
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet loan requests area, projects, process deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the Transaction and Processing policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals, lead projects, teams or serve as a mentor for less experienced staff
  • Work closely supporting Portfolio Management (Agency and Wells Fargo portfolio held loans)


Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Transactions and Processing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • Ability to make decisions and work independently
  • Ability to communicate with borrowers, de-escalate issues, collaborate with auditors and attend all meetings/calls/requests

Job Expectations:
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed.
  • Ability to work outside of regular business hours (7am - 4pm; 8am - 5pm regular business hours).
  • Work at one of the posted locations below on a hybrid schedule of three (3) days in office and two (2) days from home.
