Job Location:
This is a hybrid position, with a requirement to work onsite in Arlington, VA two to three days per week.

In your role as a Senior Consultant, you will support loan subsidy modeling, financial scenario analysis, and credit facility approvals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial modeling, strategic planning, and resource allocation to help guide decision-making and ensure compliance with federal regulations. Your individual salary within this range will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to your education, experience, skills, and geographic location. Job Description:
In your role as a Senior Consultant, you will support loan subsidy modeling, financial scenario analysis, and credit facility approvals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial modeling, strategic planning, and resource allocation to help guide decision-making and ensure compliance with federal regulations. In this position, you will also be responsible for:
- Subsidy Scenario Modeling & Loan Structuring:
- Review cost estimates for expected articles/services from Military Departments (MILDEPs).
- Develop loan modeling parameters, including loan type, amount, maturity term, interest rate, principal payment grace periods, and target obligation dates.
- Finalize subsidy models for federal approval of credit facility cost estimates.
- Loan Negotiation & Credit Facility Approval:
- Develop and refine loan modeling parameters to support ongoing PN negotiations.
- Draft and refine loan agreement documents.
- Work with federal agencies to determine satisfactory credit facility costs, revising models as needed.
- Process Mapping for Loan Establishment & Execution:
- Prepare and submit Standard Form-132 (SF-132) apportionment requests.
- Assist with appropriation setup and financial system allocation of loan funds.
- Recalculate and re-model subsidy costs for modified loan terms per federal guidance.
- Submit subsidy re-estimate apportionments ahead of the federal budget cycle.
- Update MAX CSR and MAX A-11 databases with re-estimated budget amounts and revised credit subsidy calculations.
- Compare disbursement assumptions, calculating Interest Rate Re-Estimates (IRR) and Single Effective Estimates (SER).
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in financial modeling, with a strong ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data to inform decision-making.
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, scenario modeling, budget calculation, and resource allocation.
- Expertise in federal credit subsidy modeling, federal budget processes, and financial risk assessment.
- Experience working with federal financial systems and loan structuring.
Desired Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling tools, and budget planning applications.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to provide data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.
- CPA, CFA, CGFM, or other relevant financial certifications.
- Experience working with federal financial management systems.
- Prior experience in government loan programs, credit risk modeling, and financial forecasting.
